Happy Sunday everyone!

I created a birthday card featuring the adorable unicorns from the "Rainbows and Unicorns" stamp set by Time For Tea Designs.

First, I colored the stamps with my alcohol markers, choosing soft pastel shades that I thought would match the playful theme of the unicorns.

Then, I decided to make a shaker card. To do this, I used square dies to create the frame. For the background, I blended three Distress Oxide ink colors: picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, and peacock feathers.

I also colored the "Let’s Party" sentiment with these inks and adhered it to the background. I made the frame using two different sizes of square dies, which I inked in pink. Next, I added clouds along the frame before securing acetate to the back. By using foam tape strips, I created depth, allowing the shaker elements to move freely.

Lastly, I splattered some colorful ink on the card to add an extra fun touch. I’m really happy with how the card turned out — it definitely feels like a celebration!

Today I created a shaker card using the Just Married stamp set and the  A2 Stitched Hearts Cover Dies As usual, I started by coloring the stamps with my Copic markers. I chose pink as the main color, using RV29, RV25, RV23, and RV21. I absolutely love making shaker cards! First, I cut out the frame using a die. Then, I added double-sided tape around the edges on the back and attached a piece of mica. Next, I created a raised border with double-sided foam tape, leaving enough space for the shaker elements to move around once the back is sealed. Before attaching the background, I gave it some color using ink—blue for the sky, gray for the road, and green around the road to make it look like grass.   Hi Tea Timers!  So happy you're reading my blog again! Today, I'm back with a fun shaker card. I absolutely love the Lucky Ducks clear stamps, they’re just so cute! I colored them using my Copic markers with these combinations for the ducks: yellow Y18, 15, 13, 11 and orange YR68, 15, and 12. For the base of the card, I used the Wonky Windows cover die. Before attaching the shaker part, I added some background color using Ranger Oxide inks. The sky turned out blue with some cute cloud shapes created with a stencil, and the grass got a fresh green shade. For the shaker elements, I picked soft colors and clear sequins, so everything blends together nicely. Instead of using a stamped sentiment, I opted for a die-cut sentiment this time, the Lots of Luck large sentiment die. I’m so happy with how it turned out—so cheerful and fun! Welkom op mijn blogpagina Even kennismaken: Ik ben Myrthe Tobé en 40 jaar. Ik ben getrouwd met Jeroen en heb een zoon van 13 jaar en een dochter van 10 jaar.  Ik ben het liefst creatief bezig, ook in mijn werk als leerlingbegeleider. Ik heb jarenlang voor de klas gestaan op basisscholen en een korte uitstap naar het VSO. De reden dat ik niet meer voor de klas sta, was de frustratie om niet genoeg tijd te hebben voor die ene leerling die dat heel hard nodig had. In mijn functie als leerlingbeleider kan ik mijn expertise op het gebied van gedrag en leren beter inzetten. Een paar jaar geleden heb ik de master (S)EN gedaan op de HU. Een mooie aanvulling op de kennis die ik al had. Ik wil uitgaan van wat de leerling nodig heeft. Ik zie en ik hoor het kind, ik geef ruimte binnen bepaalde grenzen. Ik bouw een band op met de leerling, waardoor je meer kan bereiken. Ik werk samen met het kind, het mooiste beroep dat er is! Ik leer nog steeds elke dag met en van mijn leerlingen. Inmiddels he...
